Programming:

To Add New Keys:
1. Make sure the RFID unit is powered on.
2. Make sure the new keys you are using are 125kHZ.
3. Remove the master key from the metal tin.
4. Hold the master key next to the antenna for a few seconds (the antenna is the domed black plastic piece. The top of the dome is where it has the best sensing capabilities).
5. Remove the master key and place your new key near the antenna. Leave it there for 5 seconds.
6. Pull the key away and then bring it back in range of the antenna. The light should now light up
To Remove Keys:
The only way to remove a key is to clear all keys from the entire device
1. Make sure the RFID unit is powered on.
2. Remove the master key from the metal tin.
3. Hold the master key next to the antenna for a 15 seconds (the antenna is the domed black plastic piece. The top of the dome is where it has the best sensing capabilities).
5. Remove the master key
6. Wait 5 seconds
System is now wiped
Short Range RFID Reader
Add Cards
- Ensure the unit is powered on.
- Press the button once.
- Tap the cards you want to add onto the reader.
- Press the button again to finalize. The cards are now programmed.
Remove Cards
- With the unit powered on, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
- Tap the cards you want to remove.
- Press the button again. The selected cards are now removed.
Wipe All Cards
- Make sure the unit is powered off.
- While powering on the unit, press and hold the button.
- The unit is now wiped (all cards have been removed).
